Client: Shaw TV — The Express
These television news stories were produced for my client — Shaw TV, Channel 4. They aired on The Express, which is a daily news magazine show produced by the Vancouver studio of Shaw TV. I independently produced these stories and delivered them to Shaw for broadcast. For each story I did the research, shot the video, wrote the script, recorded the voiceovers, and edited the video.
This journalistic approach is a very efficient way to produce a video about your business or organization. Viewers are used to watching news style stories, and the interview format means that you don’t have to memorize lines or do a lot of preparation. I am able to shoot HD footage of activities or the location, do some interviews, and be done in a few hours. If you prefer this journalistic style, this can be a good option compared to a more scripted and carefully planned video.
